Just like the classic straight 50's model, the 50's Slim model is made from a medium-weight selvedge fabric of 13.5oz. This denim is made from Zimbabwean cotton, which is unique because it is hand-harvested. This harvesting method allows the cotton to retain a more "pure" appearance as well as a softer and less dry feel than American cotton. This harvesting technique also gives the fabric natural irregularities, which come from variations in thread thickness and tensions produced by the vintage loom used for its manufacture. Like most denim pieces offered by TCB, it has been pre-washed to provide comfort from the first wear and a fully set size.

Despite a revised fit, the 50's Slim remains true to the original model from the early 1950s. Thus, historical details have been recreated, such as the riveted back pockets, the screen-printed leather patch, and the "Leg Twist" resulting from the use of cotton seams that twist during the first wash. The seams were made using the original machines, like the Union Special 43200G, and the resulting roping effect. To push the attention to detail to the limit, the buttons and rivets selected by TCB will oxidize, thus aging alongside the denim.

First introduced in 2016 and reissued since 2023, it is the slimmest cut offered by TCB. Initially, Hajime Inoue, the founder of the label, was quite reluctant to offer a "Slim" fit that contradicted their desire to only draw inspiration from original models. Following numerous requests, especially from the European market, TCB finally decided to offer a more fitted model. For the design, Hajime chose a mid-rise waist, a comfortable thigh opening followed by a narrower leg opening. This cut reveals a perfect balance, neither too wide nor too fitted.
