Beams Plus, launched in 1999 by the Japanese brand BEAMS, is inspired by the American golden age (1940-1960), a period of economic prosperity following World War II. The brand draws from the classic dress codes of that era, including "Americana", workwear, sportswear, and military, to create modern and timeless interpretations of these styles.

For the Fall/Winter 2024 season, in addition to our selection of Preppy style cardigans from Beams Plus, we have also selected two sleeveless V-neck sweaters, including the Argyle Vest Mohair Navy. This model directly echoes those worn by American students in the 1960s, while adopting a textured material and an original color, as is typical of Beams Plus.

Crafted from a wool and mohair blend, this sweater combines warmth, lightness, and softness for optimal comfort. The mohair also allows for more vibrant colors, enhancing the characteristic Argyle pattern of this model. This pattern, typical of vintage sweaters, is distinguished by overlapping diamonds, often accompanied by diagonal lines.

With its slim fit, it can easily be worn over a t-shirt or a shirt, ideal for a layered look.
