Portuguese Flannel values quality over quantity. The brand uses exclusive fabrics, traditionally made and produced in certified Portuguese textile companies. All pieces are then crafted in northern Portugal. The collections are also made from natural materials such as cotton, linen, or wool. The same goes for the buttons, which are made of corozo or mother-of-pearl. Portugal and the family history of the two brothers behind Portuguese Flannel play an important role in the creation of the collections. Coming from a family producing textiles for four generations, Manuel and António aim to change the way the world perceives their country — as a place of value and authenticity.
The Wool Field Overshirt is a military-inspired wool overshirt. Indeed, it recalls the CPO (Chief Petty Officer) shirts of the US Navy. Its wool fabric exterior is softened inside thanks to a viscose lining, smooth and comfortable to wear. It also features two button-flap chest pockets and a locker loop on the back seam, originally used to hang shirts in lockers.
Portuguese Flannel overshirts fit true to size, so you can take your usual size.
