The Dobby Coverall Jacket is based on the iconic work jacket (or Chore Coat) that appeared in late 19th century France. Originally designed to be loose and comfortable for railway workers or farmers, this version has been tailored to be closer to the fit of a suit jacket. It has a more fitted look, with shorter sleeves and a reduced torso length, for a more "formal" appearance than a traditional work jacket.
From the original model, the two large side pockets and the chest pocket have been retained, as well as the straight fit. This reinterpretation by Momotaro features a shawl collar, enhancing its versatility. Paired with tone-on-tone stitching and black lacquered metal buttons, the unique value of this jacket also comes from the fabric, a Black Dobby fabric with a very deep black hue that will reveal many gray shades over time with wear and washing.
Cette veste taille normalement, vous pouvez prendre votre taille habituelle pour un rendu ajusté, mais elle se prêtera facilement au jeu de l'oversize si vous prenez une taille supérieure.
