The "Legacy Blue" jeans are crafted from 14.7oz denim made from hand-picked Zimbabwe cotton. The name "Legacy" refers to its lighter indigo shade compared to other models in the range, reminiscent of vintage denims.
This version is dyed with indigo on the warp (outer) threads, while maintaining white cotton for the weft (inner) threads. A hand-twisted silk thread has been woven into the weft at a slow pace using vintage Toyoda looms, adding extra irregularity to the fabric and a great softness when worn. Its deep overall hue will fade over time to reveal a beautiful patina with nuances of blue shades. A true emblem of Momotaro, it clearly features the signature pink stitching on the crotch, copper rivets, and a riveted vegetable tanned bovine leather patch.
The Natural Tapered fit from Momotaro is comfortable, with a high waist and a deep yoke shifted to the back for better support, thigh comfort followed by a slightly tapered fall without betraying a straighter leg opening than other models from the brand. Note, this model was delivered without a pre-wash, making it more cardboard-like and rigid than the models usually offered by Momotaro.
Comme souvent chez Momotaro, ce modèle taille plutôt petit, nous vous conseillons de prendre une taille au-dessus de votre taille habituelle.
Notez que cette version non prélavée sera amenée à très légèrement rétrécir au premier lavage. La diminution a prévoir reste minime, correspondant environ à -0,5cm à tous les niveaux.
