This season, Deep Sea Selvedge offered by Naked & Famous features a rather unique characteristic for the Montreal-based brand, namely a prewashed fabric. This treatment is applied to the fabric before assembly to prevent potential fading and to achieve cleaner, wrinkle-free seams. It also fully sets the size, thereby eliminating any risk of shrinkage. The denim, relatively lightweight at 12.5oz, is made from smooth cotton yarns for a more uniform look that blends perfectly with the deep indigo hue of the outer warp thread. The inner weft thread has also received a softer indigo dye, enhancing the overall depth of the color and making these jeans very versatile.
Other features include a classic red selvedge ID, a black vegetable-tanned pull-up leather patch, contrasting stitches, and black matte metal buttons and rivets.
Formerly known as SuperSkinnyGuy, the SuperGuy cut is the slimmest fit from Naked & Famous, similar to a slim/skinny silhouette.
