As part of the collection dedicated to their 45th anniversary, Studio D'Artisan brings us the SP-108 from the "Extreme Denim" series. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this jean features a classic straight cut, mid-rise with a comfortable thigh followed by a slightly tapered leg. The uniqueness of this jean lies in its fabric, aptly named Extreme Denim, a 16oz selvedge denim with an unconventional texture that mixes both slub yarns and pronounced neps. It is certainly one of the most exquisite denims we have seen at Flâneurs.

This fabric immediately resonates with the Japanese heritage in dyeing and craft expertise in weaving. The warp threads (outer) are dyed with natural indigo using the traditional kasezome method, a traditional Japanese dyeing technique here combined with super-slub threads No. 5 and No. 6 to achieve great texture variations. The weaving is then performed on old shuttle looms with different levels of tension to enhance the relief while ensuring the fabric's durability.
