The WorkForce Selvedge is a lightweight Japanese denim of 11oz that perfectly captures the essence of traditional workwear, characterized by its distinctive light indigo shade. This denim is woven in a classic way with a white weft thread but stands out thanks to the use of “slubby” and “neppy” cotton yarns. The result is a fabric scattered with small white cotton neps, also featuring an irregular texture that will become even more meaningful over time. The classic blue selvedge ID adds an extra touch to its resolutely vintage look.
The denim, sanforized but unsinged, initially feels rigid and crunchy, but will quickly soften to provide long-term comfort. Its light indigo tone favors faster but softer fading, typical of the vintage style associated with jeans. Made in Canada, this pair is completed with contrasting white stitching, a button fly, a vintage-style jacron patch, and silver-colored metal buttons and rivets.
The TrueGuy fit features a high rise and a straight leg from thigh to hem, recalling the vintage silhouettes that have shaped the history of denim, making it timeless, versatile, and suited to a wide range of body types.
