Since 1950, NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA has been producing warm, comfortable, and soothing socks in Japan. Katsuji Nishiguchi founded the company Knitwin Co. in the prefecture of Nara, with just one manual knitting machine. Since then, the company has continued to grow through successive generations and is currently managed by Isato Nishiguchi, the third generation.
The collection offered by NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA also includes a selection of mittens made with the same rigor and craftsmanship as their ranges of socks. The 100% Wool Arm Warmers are a perfect example. Designed to effectively combat the chilly winter days, the knit is made from exceptionally fine merino wool fibers, averaging 16 microns, equivalent to cashmere. This soft and luxurious wool is produced from sheep raised in the vicinity of Mount Cook in New Zealand. The considerable length of these mittens will cover the entire arm, from the elbow to the mid-fingers, leaving only the fingertips free for easier hand use.
