The New Deck Jacket is a reinterpretation of the famous Deck Jacket N1 (deck jacket) by Manifattura Ceccarelli. The Deck Jacket was worn during World War II by the US Navy soldiers to face the cold on the decks and passageways of ships.

The New Deck Jacket features two exterior pockets and one zippered inside pocket. It has a fitted cut and is also the shortest form at Manifattura Ceccarelli.

This coat is entirely made in Italy from a 100% cotton double-ply poplin fabric, highly resistant to wear and abrasion. The material is made water-repellent by a treatment consisting of immersion in melted paraffin tanks. This is the fabric that Manifattura Ceccarelli has been using for many years to make its winter clothing, making the garments waterproof, comfortable, and particularly suited for both countryside and city use. Moreover, this material will develop a beautiful patina over time.

Its collar can be worn down or raised to effectively protect against bad weather. A button placket under the collar also allows it to be kept raised and to cover the neck effectively. This version is finished with a shearling lining that blends 90% wool with 10% polyester, warm and comfortable.
