The Blazer Coat from Manifattura Ceccarelli is a short hooded jacket featuring 4 outer pockets (2 hand pockets under 2 large flap pockets) and 2 inner pockets, one zippered and the other with buttons. Its comfortable straight cut provides ease of movement, while the waist tightening elastic allows for custom fit adjustments. It also features a high double slider zipper that covers the neck as well as a cap-style hood that can be tightened with a waxed cotton cord.
This coat is entirely made in Italy from a very durable double-twisted poplin fabric, 100% cotton, resistant to wear and abrasion. The material is made water-repellent through a treatment involving immersion in melted paraffin. This is the fabric Manifattura Ceccarelli has been using for many years to make its winter clothing; it makes the garments waterproof, comfortable, and particularly suited for both countryside and city use. Additionally, this material will develop a beautiful patina over time.
This version is finished with a shearling lining, also present in the hood, mixing 90% wool with 10% polyester, warm and comfortable. The sleeve linings are made of Bemberg Cupro, a 100% biodegradable natural fiber. It is a very fine material, similar to silk. It has a smooth surface that does not irritate the skin. It is also very breathable as it quickly absorbs moisture which is then released through invisible pores. It thus generates heat, particularly when combined with another insulating fiber like wool or down. This heat is efficiently retained thanks to the ribbed cuffs.
This model fits true to size, you can take your usual size.
