Beams Plus, launched in 1999 by the Japanese brand BEAMS, draws inspiration from the American golden age (1940-1960), a period of economic prosperity following World War II. The brand taps into the classic dress codes of the era, including Americana, workwear, sportswear, and military, to create modern and timeless interpretations of these styles.

The Rag Socks range from Beams Plus offers retro-style socks, with a certain thickness and a mid-length height. Knitted in Japan on old machines with two different types of yarn, including one recycled (a textile recycling process practiced for centuries in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture), they provide a soft touch and a unique texture to the knit. They come in a heathered Oatmeal look with a contrasting green stripe.
