ROTOTO socks are made in Japan’s largest sock-producing region, Nara Prefecture. This region has been renowned for its quality textiles since the 17th century. Industrial sock production began here in 1910 when a man from the former village of Umami (now Koryocho) imported a loom from the United States to his hometown after a study trip to the country.
