Since 1950, NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA has been producing warm, comfortable, and soothing socks in Japan. Katsuji Nishiguchi founded the company Knitwin Co. in the prefecture of Nara, with just one manual knitting machine. Since then, the company has continually grown, now led by Isato Nishiguchi, the third generation.

Their collection is divided into 4 ranges, named after the cities that inspired them: Boston, Prague, Oslo, and Teni.

The Silk Cotton Ribbed Socks are part of the Prague range. The city of Prague, in the Czech Republic, derives its beauty from its architecture, from colorful baroque buildings to stone gothic churches. Reflecting this city, these socks offer a simple weave that highlights the quality, texture, and sheen of each material.
