Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturing company based in Fukui, which draws inspiration from the legacy of its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

The Back Nep Baggy Pants, as the name suggests, are directly inspired by the Baggy pants and jeans that flooded the 1990s, particularly in the world of hip-hop and skateboarding. They feature a wide, high-waisted fit that is comfortable from the thigh down to the shorter intended length of the leg, with a semi-elastic waistband. The 5-pocket assembly follows the design of jeans, as does the buttoned waistband with the zippered fly. Only the belt loops have been removed, replaced by an internal drawstring that allows for waist adjustment.

They are made from a beautiful 100% organic cotton Back Nep fabric. The cotton yarns are woven as they are, without any thread adjustment, to achieve a grainy and neppy texture, full of bumps and roughness. The fabric is then degreased to give it a drier and stiffer feel, thus providing good structure to the pants.

Thanks to its elastic waistband, adjustable via the drawstring, it is possible to choose the size depending on the desired fit, either more loose or more fitted.
