ONI is a mysterious label behind which stands a true enthusiast who has devoted 60 years of his life to denim. Always in search of perfection, Oishi-san is constantly experimenting and focuses exclusively on production. That is why you will find neither an official website nor an Instagram page for the brand. It is also why the label is only distributed in a few select stores worldwide and exclusively at Flâneurs in France.
The ONI 200-HCSV is a five-pocket pant made from a lightweight 8oz selvedge chambray fabric, woven at low tension on vintage shuttle looms. The naturally beige cotton used echoes the contrasting topstitching and perfectly matches the light indigo shade for an overall authentic look. Ideal for mid-season and summer, it features a subtly irregular texture, both breathable and sturdy. Its Wide Straight cut with a high waist takes inspiration from vintage workwear while ensuring modern comfort.
Pre-washed (one wash) to prevent any shrinkage, this model showcases the brand’s signature details: button fly with original “donut” buttons, hidden copper rivets, coin pocket with peek-a-boo selvedge, and raw leather patch. True to ONI Denim’s artisanal approach, it will develop a unique patina over time and fits perfectly into a casual or workwear summer wardrobe.
