The 13oz Denim Tuck Pants from Japan Blue Jeans is a trouser that falls between jeans and chinos, offered in a bright, simple, and versatile washed indigo shade. Featuring pleats at the waist, it provides a roomy yet controlled silhouette, both relaxed and refined, ensuring comfort and ease of movement without compromising structure.
It is crafted from non-selvedge 13oz denim woven from organic cotton, soft and durable. The warp yarn (outer) is dyed in a deep indigo, contrasting with the weft yarn (inner), which is left white and undyed. The finished piece is then washed to achieve a "bleach" look reminiscent of vintage jeans. Thanks to the dyeing technique used, called "rope dye", the color will continue to evolve over time, allowing for a patina with varied shades. The tobacco-toned topstitching echoes the original color of jean stitching, originally chosen to make rivets less noticeable.
