Drawing inspiration from archival pieces, FOB Factory reinterprets the Baker Pants, also known as Fatigue Pants, originally worn by US Army GIs from 1952 onwards. As is often the case with FOB Factory, the denim is one of the model’s main highlights. The 888 Denim is woven on one of the last three active "888 Shuttle Looms", giving the fabric a smooth appearance and firm texture, even after a one wash treatment. Over time, the denim develops a beautiful patina, with subtle weaving irregularities that create a nuanced, unique look.
Fidelity to the original is preserved in details such as the two large front patch pockets, two rear button-flap pockets, and adjustable side tabs at the waist for easy fit. Durable and versatile, the F0541 reflects the meticulous attention to detail and renowned Japanese craftsmanship of FOB Factory, making it suitable for both casual wear and authentic workwear style, perfectly blending heritage and modern functionality.
