With the Denim Work Shirt, SDA masterfully revisits the codes of the authentic work shirt while offering a more modern interpretation. Its fitted, slightly boxy cut allows for versatile wear when buttoned, but it can also be worn open over a T-shirt like an overshirt or denim jacket. It features two symmetrical chest patch pockets with buttons, reflecting the workwear heritage.
The selvedge denim used, with a substantial weight of 14oz, has a deep hue combined with a slightly irregular, soft texture, a result of low-tension weaving. It is also pre-washed to stabilize the fit and enhance the fabric's texture. The selvedge edge, present at the reinforced bartacks on either side of the waist, is accompanied by the classic "run-off" continuation of the chainstitch seams. Finally, tone-on-tone cat's-eye urea buttons add a discreet touch while highlighting the yellow and tobacco tones of the stitching.
This model runs slightly small; we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual size.
