The Japanese Cotton L/S Crew T-Shirt by Samurai Jeans is a heavyweight, textured long-sleeve T-shirt, crafted from cotton grown by the brand in the Sasayama region (Hyogo, Japan). This exclusive cotton, spun into irregular yarns, is used to create a dense 16oz fabric with a subtly slubbed surface, inspired by the brand’s “BUSHIDO Zero” denim.
Knit in Wakayama and then sewn in Kyoto, this T-shirt showcases Japanese craftsmanship from yarn to finished garment. The collar is reinforced with triple-needle stitching, while the flat seams are made on a Union Special Flat Seamer 36200, an iconic machine from vintage productions of the 1960s.
The Natural version (or Kinari in Japanese) retains the natural shade of raw cotton, without bleaching or dyeing. This finish preserves the authentic and organic character of the fiber, offering a soft, warm ecru color that remains true to the artisanal spirit and timeless aesthetic of Samurai Jeans.
Samurai Jeans T-shirts have a slightly fitted Japanese cut and tend to run small. We recommend choosing one size up from your usual size, but please refer to the size chart below for greater accuracy.
