The Red Wing Moc Toe boot is a classic moccasin-style shoe made in Red Wing, Minnesota. Standing 6 inches tall, the Moc Toe was originally designed for hunters and farmers in the early 1950s and built to withstand tough labor in harsh weather conditions. The name "Moc Toe" derives from the word "Moccasin", the traditional Algonquin Indian word for the U-shaped toe.

New at Flâneurs, the 8881 is a model that Red Wing has offered for many years. The Mohave leather, a classic from the S.B. Foot Tannery, is presented here in an impressive Olive variation. It is a "Rough Out" leather, meaning that the smooth part of the leather is on the inside of the shoe, leaving the rough suede surface on the outside. The use of this leather offers many advantages, including its water-repellent properties and great breathability, which help it maintain its shape. It requires little maintenance, just a water-repellent as needed, and a nubuck eraser to remove any marks and stains.

The 8881 is mounted on a characteristic Vibram Cushion Crepe sole with Traction Tred, offering maximum grip and exceptional comfort.
