The Red Wing Moc Toe boot is a classic moccasin-style shoe made in Red Wing, Minnesota. Standing 6 inches high, the Moc Toe was originally designed for hunters and farmers in the early 1950s and built to withstand hard work in challenging weather conditions. The name “Moc Toe” comes from the word “Moccasin,” the traditional Algonquian term for the U-shaped toe design.
The 2949 is a pebbled, soft, and oily leather variant of the classic Red Wing 875, a true icon of the American brand.
It is mounted on a Vibram Lug lugged sole, giving it a more outdoor look, reinforced grip, and excellent durability on all types of terrain.
