Oni is a mysterious label behind which hides a true denim enthusiast who has dedicated 60 years of his life to denim. Always in pursuit of perfection, Oishi-san is constantly innovating and focuses solely on production. This is why you won't find a website or an official Instagram page for the brand. It is also for this reason that the label is distributed only in a few boutiques around the world and exclusively at Flâneurs in France.

While maintaining the typical authenticity of fabrics from Oni Denim, the “KIRAKU” series is made with a lightweight 12oz denim. Like all the jeans from the demon-headed label, it is crafted on old shuttle looms. Thanks to the low-tension weaving, the selvedge denim is both textured and slightly rough. The Oni 022-KI, being directly pre-washed by the brand, feels light and comfortable from the first wear.

Always true to iconic details, a bright pink selvedge ID contrasts with the deep indigo of the Kiraku. It also features meticulous finishes such as the hidden copper rivets that strengthen the back pockets and the pocket bags. The belt loops are called "raised", meaning they contain a small cord that adds extra durability.

The 022-KI is offered here in the Relax Straight silhouette. It has a straight cut, clean, slightly tapered from the knee down to the leg opening. The ankle opening is generous without being too wide.
