Since 1950, NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA has been producing warm, comfortable, and comforting socks in Japan. Katsuji Nishiguchi founded Knitwin Co. in Nara prefecture with just one manual knitting machine. Since then, the company has continuously developed through successive generations and is currently led by Isato Nishiguchi, the third generation.

Their collection is divided into 4 ranges, named after the cities that inspired them: Boston, Prague, Oslo, and Teni.

The Silk Cotton Ribbed Socks are part of the Prague range. The city of Prague, in the Czech Republic, derives its beauty from its architecture, from colorful Baroque buildings to stone Gothic churches. Reflecting this city, these socks offer a simple weave that highlights the quality, texture, and luster of each material.
