The Raglan Pullover Hood Sweat from Good On is a hoodie made from American cotton, knitted in a 9oz French Terry. Under the arms, Good On uses the same stretch fabric as the ribbed cuffs and hem, providing extra freedom of movement while enhancing the durability of the garment.
What sets Good On apart is their expertise in dyeing techniques. The brand specializes in pigment dye. Simply put, if you cut the garment in half, you’ll see that the core of the cotton remains white. The color is applied post-production, after the hoodie is assembled, and only the surface of the fabric is dyed.
The pigment dyeing process is not uniform, giving the French Terry a vintage look and slightly irregular color. Each piece differs subtly from another, and this patina develops further over time and washes.
Good On offers one of the largest palettes of pigment-dyed colors (nearly thirty shades), with ongoing research to introduce new tones each season.
Good On also ensures high seam durability. During the dyeing process, garments undergo significant friction and twisting, so strong, resilient seams are essential.
