Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturer based in Fukui, which draws inspiration from the legacy left by its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.

For the summer season, Jackman offers us the Tenpi Baggy Trousers with an adjustable loose fit thanks to elasticated hems for convenience. It is made from a lightweight, 100% cotton "Typewriter" fabric. It is dyed in small batches, which gives it a uniform look with multiple reflections. Moreover, after dyeing, the fabric is sun-dried rather than machine-dried. This way, the fabric is less damaged and retains a natural texture. This is an environmentally friendly drying method, low in energy consumption, but also a manual process that therefore requires a lot of time and effort.
