Our new collaboration launches on September 1st at 10 AM CEST
Last autumn, we introduced our very first collaboration with Nitto Knitwear, a family-run knitwear manufacturer based near Paris, whose expertise has been passed down since 1972. Our goal was simple: to create a timeless sweater built around an exceptional yet little-known yarn, bringing together French craftsmanship and one of Britain's finest spinning mills.
The response to this collaboration exceeded all of our expectations. Several colours quickly sold out, and the many messages we received confirmed what we had hoped from the very beginning: the Bedros had found its place both within our collection and in your wardrobes.
We are therefore delighted to renew this collaboration for the Fall/Winter 2026 season with an expanded collection featuring 12 colourways, combining brand-new shades with the most popular colours from the first release, alongside the introduction of a new Bedros Turtleneck.

A collaboration built to last
This second chapter exists first and foremost thanks to the success of the original collaboration. From its initial launch, the first colours quickly found their audience, appreciated as much for their comfort as for the quality of the knit and the richness of the Geelongora yarn.
Rather than creating a one-off collaboration, our ambition was to build a project that could evolve over time. The Bedros therefore retains everything that made it successful, while expanding with a broader colour palette and the addition of a new turtleneck version to complement the collection.
The Bedros, unchanged where it matters
This new edition preserves everything that made the original collaboration so successful, beginning with the material that inspired the project from day one: Geelongora. Developed by Z. Hinchliffe & Sons, this exceptional yarn combines 75% Geelong lambswool—a fine yet resilient fibre that provides structure and durability—with 25% angora (certified Caregora™) for outstanding softness and a silky hand feel. The spinning mill uses short-fibre angora, specifically selected to minimise shedding while ensuring the garment maintains its shape over time. The result is an incredibly soft yarn with a subtle halo and remarkable visual depth.
It's also an opportunity to (re)discover the spinning mill through the video below and witness the impressive transformation process that turns raw fibres into finished yarn.
The success of our first collaboration naturally encouraged us to continue this adventure. While the foundations of the project remain unchanged, this second edition benefits from the experience we have built together. The many positive comments we received regarding the construction, comfort and the unique qualities of the Geelongora yarn confirmed our decision to keep the original design exactly as it was.
We also retained the same 8-gauge knit, which perfectly showcases the natural loft, softness and lightness of the Geelongora yarn. The fully seamless WholeGarment® construction, entirely produced in the Nitto Knitwear workshop, remains at the heart of the project. This advanced knitting technique eliminates shoulder seams and side seams altogether, resulting in a remarkably clean silhouette while naturally improving comfort and freedom of movement.
Working with such an exceptional yarn still requires a high level of technical expertise. The Geelongora yarn demands extremely precise machine settings and rigorous quality control throughout every stage of production in order to preserve its loft, softness and long-term stability. The expertise of the Nitto Knitwear team remains one of the key elements behind the quality of every single garment.

The fit, which played a major role in the success of the original release, also remains unchanged. With its crew neck, fully seamless construction and slightly relaxed silhouette, the Bedros continues to offer a timeless, comfortable fit that is easy to wear every day. Maintaining this foundation allowed us to focus on what truly defines this new collaboration: expanding the collection through the introduction of new colours, now available in twelve carefully selected shades.

An Expanded Color Palette
For this FW26 collection, we worked on a broader palette, combining natural shades, deep tones, and bolder colors.
Our goal was simple: to offer a wider range of personalities while preserving the timeless elegance that defines the Bedros.
Returning Colors
These five shades proved to be true favorites during the first edition, so bringing them back felt like the natural choice.
New FW26 Colors
Seven new shades are now joining the collection.
The Bedros Roll Neck, New for FW26
With this second edition, the Bedros has become much more than a one-off collaboration: it is now a project we intend to develop and refine season after season.
With that in mind, we wanted to imagine a new interpretation rather than simply introducing additional colors. The addition of a roll neck quickly became an obvious choice following the many requests we received last year. Knitted using the same stretch rib construction as the cuffs and hem, it provides warmth without feeling restrictive, while its height can be adjusted to suit individual preferences.
For this first release, it is available in four colors: Moon, Bordeaux, Sacramento, and Navy.
A Collaboration That Is Only Just Beginning
Today, this collaboration perfectly embodies our vision of clothing—a vision shared with Nitto Knitwear and the grandson of its founder, Melik, whom we would like to sincerely thank for his trust and enthusiasm.
This second edition marks an important milestone. More than a simple reissue, it reflects our ambition to build a collection that will continue to grow season after season, while remaining true to what makes it unique: exceptional materials, local craftsmanship, and garments designed to stand the test of time. The extensive color range offered by Z. Hinchliffe & Sons provides an incredible source of inspiration, and we are already looking forward to sharing what comes next.
