The Heavy Zip Hood Sweat from Good On is made from American cotton, woven into a 13oz French Terry jersey.

Under the arms, Good On used the same stretchy material as for the ribbed edges. This provides more freedom of movement while improving the product's durability.

What makes Good On unique as a manufacturer is primarily its expertise in the dyeing techniques used to color its garments. The brand is particularly specialized in pigment dyeing ("pigment dye").

To put it simply, if you cut the garment in half, you will see that the core of the cotton remains white. The coloring only happens post-production, after the sweatshirt is made. With pigment dyeing, the dye does not penetrate the fabric deeply, it only colors the surface of the garment.

Since it is not a uniform dyeing process, it gives the jersey a vintage look and an uneven color. Each piece thus slightly differs from one batch to another, and this particular patina will become more pronounced over time and with washing.
