Yuketen is an American-Japanese brand founded in 1989 by Yuki Matsuda, a Japanese designer and founder of Meg Company, a multi-brand group based in Hermosa Beach, California. This group includes Yuketen, Monitaly, Epperson Mountaineering, and Chamula.
Each Yuketen item is the result of careful design and thorough research, handmade by highly skilled artisans with years of experience.

The meticulous quality and artistic aesthetics of Yuketen reflect the passion of these dedicated artisans.
Special attention is paid to selecting components: American-oiled leathers, full-grain smooth hides, Tuscan-tanned suede from Italy, and vegetable-tanned leathers from Mexico using only natural energy and resources.

These features are key to ensuring product durability and longevity. Every step—no matter how detailed—matters in achieving the best result.

The finishing touches that complete a Yuketen product are added by its wearer: creases, folds, scuffs, and scratches from use, footprints, skin contact marks, and a glossy patina. These physical signs are lasting marks of loyal service.
Yuketen takes pride in bringing joy to men and women with an adventurous spirit who choose craftsmanship and conscious consumption.
For our first selection at Flâneurs, we chose four iconic models that perfectly represent the brand’s designs and inspirations:
