It is with great enthusiasm and pride that we present to you our first collaboration with the Japanese label FOB Factory.

Born from the idea of combining the expertise of the Japanese brand with our search for a specific cut that would perfect our selection, the foundation of this partnership remains the chosen fabric: denim. The text "G3" appears to be a reference or abbreviation that could stand for many things depending on the context. This exceptional denim is made from a blend of American and Australian cotton, rope-spun and dyed with natural indigo. The irregularity of the cotton threads used, combined with the very low-tension weaving on the legendary Toyoda G3, results in a textured canvas with a unique relief. Both granular and rough, it remains nevertheless fluid thanks to an ideal weight of 14oz, a medium weight that can be easily worn throughout the year. The pre-washing process (One Wash) also helps to remove the stiffness and crispness of the denim to offer a comfortable wear right away.

Every detail of this model is an ode to the golden age of denim. The selvedge edge features a typical vintage pink hue, and the leg seam is slightly twisted for a "torsion de la jambe"discreet. For the tension points of the pockets, they are reinforced with copper rivets, hidden for the back pockets. The belt loops incorporate a reinforcement cord at their core, and the main seams, for their part, are made with chain stitches on a Union Special 43200G, which will offer a "Roping"pressed, appearing over time and washes. The leather patch, vegetable-tanned and in a natural hue, is embossed with the face of" Hyottoko, a character from Japanese folklore representing our store.

For several reasons, we have chosen to incorporate a martingale on the back of the jeans.back cinch"or"boucle arrière"). First of all, the martingale is a strap system dating back to the late 1800s, initially incorporated into denim to tighten it and ensure a good fit, at a time when belt loops did not exist. It allowed one to easily wear jeans that were too large when one wanted to enjoy a more voluminous cut.

In this collaboration, the principle remains the same: the ability to size up one's jeans by one, two, or even three sizes while still maintaining optimal and comfortable support, even without a belt. We also wanted to add an extra touch of authenticity to this model, a nod to the history of this iconic garment which today forms our passion and core business.
