These double face socks have been part of the ROTOTO collection since the brand's inception.

Designed with inspiration from mountaineering socks, they are made from a material that mixes merino wool on the outside with undyed organic cotton on the inside. This provides the soft and cozy sensation of a sweatshirt on your feet.

ROTOTO socks are made in the largest sock producing region of Japan, Nara Prefecture. The area has been known for its quality textiles since the 17th century. Industrial sock production was first introduced in 1910, when a man from the former village of Umami (now Koryocho) imported a loom from the United States to his hometown after his study trip to the country.

ROTOTO places great value on collaboration in its product research: "We start by selecting the right yarns with craftsmen to develop the design of a new material. After that, we choose the knitting machines depending on the type of material and the use of the product. This can involve rare machines that have a specific use, old non-computerized knitting machines, or, on the contrary, modern high-tech tools."

The ROTOTO socks can only be made by combining the right materials, the right machine, and the craftsman's know-how.
