The Heavy Zip Hood Sweat from Good On is made from American cotton, woven into a 13oz French Terry jersey.
Under the arms, Good On uses the same stretch material as for the ribbed trims. This provides more freedom of movement while enhancing the product's durability.
What sets Good On apart as a manufacturer is primarily its expertise in the dyeing techniques used to color its garments. The brand is particularly specialized in pigment dyeing ("pigment dye").
To put it simply, if you were to cut the garment in half, you would see that the core of the cotton remains white. The coloring only happens post-production, once the sweatshirt is made. With pigment dyeing, the dye does not penetrate deeply into the fabric; it only colors the surface of the garment.
Since it is not a uniform dyeing process, it gives the jersey a vintage look and an uneven color. Each piece thus slightly differs from one batch to another, and this unique patina will become more pronounced over time and with washing.

Good On also pays special attention to the robustness of its seams. Indeed, during the dyeing process, the products undergo a lot of rubbing and twisting, which requires seams with a high level of resistance.
