The Heavy Crew Sweat from Good On is made from American cotton, woven into a 13oz French Terry jersey. Under the arms, Good On has used the same stretchy material as for the ribbed edges. This provides more freedom of movement while enhancing the product's durability. It features two discreet side pockets lined with a thinner 5.5oz jersey, unlike the usual kangaroo pockets.

What makes Good On stand out as a manufacturer is primarily its expertise in the dyeing techniques used to color its garments. The brand is particularly specialized in pigment dyeing ("pigment dye").

To put it simply, if you cut the garment in half, you will see that the core of the cotton remains white. The coloring only occurs post-production, once the sweatshirt is made. With pigment dyeing, the dye does not penetrate the fabric deeply; it only colors the surface of the garment.

Since this isn't a uniform dyeing process, it gives the jersey a vintage look and an uneven color. Each piece thus slightly differs from one batch to another, and this particular patina will further intensify over time and with washings.

Good On also pays special attention to the robustness of its seams. Indeed, during the dyeing process, the products undergo a lot of rubbing and twisting, which requires seams with a high level of resistance.
