Based in Osaka, in the Senshu region, the brand Mooncastle is the recent label of a family-owned company operating since 1966. This experience allows the manufacturer to produce high-quality knitwear, with a strong focus on the selection of raw materials as well as finishing details.
For this crewneck t-shirt, Mooncastle chose "Ice Cotton", developed in 1866 by the Swiss company Spoerry. The innovative cotton treatment process gives it thermoregulating properties, providing up to 4°C of additional coolness against the skin compared to conventional cotton—an undeniable advantage in high summer temperatures. This manufacturing method also makes the fabric resistant to wrinkling, while its weight ensures excellent structure when worn.
This t-shirt features a relaxed fit, relatively loose and long, enhanced by straight, reinforced ribbed edges that are not tightened. Its clean design allows it to be easily integrated into a wide range of outfits, from casual to more statement looks.
