Launched in 2007 by Hajime Inoue, TCB Jeans is a Japanese brand inspired by American workwear from the 1920s to the 1970s. Based in Kojima, Okayama, the brand reinterprets vintage pieces crafted by skilled artisans using old and relatively rare machines. TCB Jeans is known for its robust and unique pieces with a touch of modernity.

Based on archival garments, TCB Jeans reinterprets the Baker Pants, also known as Fatigue Pants, originally worn by the GI of the US Army in the 1950s, specifically starting in 1952. In order to recreate a model very similar to the original, the Japanese label crafted these pants in a satin cotton fabric (Back-Sateen) in the famous Olive Green hue. Interestingly, this color code directly refers to the OG-107 uniform worn by the US Army during the Vietnam War. This fabric, both light and fluid, was perfectly suited to the tropical climate.

True to the original, historical details such as the two large front patch pockets, the two buttoned back pockets, and the adjustment tabs at the waist for easy size adjustment are retained.

TCB Jeans here offers a slightly revisited and less baggy cut than the original Baker Pants. Thus, it features a Wide Tapered silhouette, with room at the thighs and a slight taper from the knee down.
