Based on archival pieces, GoHemp reinterprets the Baker Pants, also known as Fatigue Pants, worn by US Army GIs in the 1950s, specifically starting from 1952. The pants incorporate the main features of the Fatigue Pants, such as the two large front patch pockets and the 2 back flap buttoned patch pockets. Its reinterpretation stands out with the addition of an elastic waistband with a drawstring, as well as a different cut from the original model, featuring a comfortable oval shape at the thigh and slightly tapered towards the bottom of the leg.

The distinctive touch brought by GoHemp also comes from the fabric used in its making, a chambray blend of 80% organic cotton and 20% hemp, combining lightweight and durability. The addition of hemp results in pants with breathable and moisture-wicking properties, facilitating quick drying.
