Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturer based in Fukui, drawing inspiration from the legacy of its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.


These Rookie Pants are voluminous pleated trousers, ideal for the summer season. They are made from a cotton and linen canvas dyed using sulfur dye. Sulfur dyeing, also known as "damage dye," is characterized by a special dyeing method that deliberately creates irregularities and streaks to give the fabric an even rougher appearance. The design is based on the loose-fitting pants worn by rookie baseball players in the United States during the 1930s and 1940s. Its very clean elastic waistband, without button or fly, along with its relaxed fit, makes it an extremely easy pair of pants to wear.


Thanks to its elastic waistband, adjustable via the drawstring, it is possible to choose your size depending on the desired fit, either looser or more fitted.
