Jackman is the brand of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturer based in Fukui, drawing inspiration from the heritage left by its founder: Mitsugu Tanabe.
These Canvas Trousers are voluminous pleated pants, ideal for the summer season. They are made from a cotton and linen canvas dyed using a sulfur dyeing process. Sulfur dyeing, also known as "damage dye," is characterized by a special technique that deliberately creates irregularities and streaks to enhance the fabric’s rugged appearance. The design is inspired by the loose trousers worn by beginner baseball players in the United States during the 1930s and 1940s. Its comfortable waistband and mid-rise fit, combined with a generous cut, make it an easy-to-wear piece.
Thanks to its semi-elasticated waistband with belt loops, you can choose your size depending on the desired fit, whether looser or more fitted.
