Astorflex is an Italian brand that creates shoes traditionally, focusing on local craftsmanship and eco-friendly manufacturing.
The Nuvoflex is a mid-high round-toe boot, handmade in Italy from Tuscan suede. This model, taken from the brand's archives, has been reintroduced to celebrate its 200 years of registration at the Italian Chamber of Commerce.
Astorflex adopts a responsible and sustainable approach in the production of its shoes. The lining and insoles are made of vegetable-tanned calf leather. The leather is soaked in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark as well as mimosa, without matrices or colored finishes. This process makes the leather healthier, hypoallergenic, and ensures better sweat absorption, thus keeping feet dry and odor-free.
The soles are made of natural rubber, composed of coagulated latex from the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). The different parts of the shoes are assembled using water-based adhesives.
