The Mackie factory opened its doors in 1845, manufacturing traditional Scottish headwear.

Today, it has become one of the leading manufacturers of Scottish knitwear, building on the rich textile heritage of Ayrshire.

Mackie continues to produce the traditional Scottish headwear for which they are globally recognized, but over the years, the range has expanded to include other types of accessories such as hats, scarves, beanies, and gloves.

Everything the company produces is "Made in Scotland" and entirely made on-site. The brand uses only pure virgin wool, a natural and sustainable product.

The classic Mackie beanie has become a staple thanks to its quality and impressive color palette.
