Beams Plus
Renowned for its masterful interpretation of classic American men's fashion, Beams Plus (or Beams+) is a brand launched in 1999 by the Japanese lifestyle giant BEAMS.
Beams Plus draws inspiration from the Golden Age of America, from the mid-1940s to the mid-1960s, a period when the country emerged victorious from World War II and its economy was booming.
During this epic period, all sectors experienced massive development, and dress codes or uniforms were established for different lifestyles.
Four major categories stood out and form the basis of current fashion: traditional "americana", workwear, sportswear, and military. Beams Plus sees a timeless beauty in the functional designs of uniform fashion, and strives to honor this tradition in its modern interpretations.
