Description

The Cashmere Fox range reflects Batoner’s attention to the selection and blending of fibres. The brand seeks a balance between the fullness of cashmere and the fluffy character of blue fox hair. The result is a light, soft knit with a fine halo of fibres that adds depth to the colour.

The cashmere and fox hair blend is spun to bring out the complementary qualities of both materials. When we asked about the origin and collection of the fox fibres, Batoner confirmed that they come from farm-raised foxes in China and are collected by combing live animals. This technique allows for better selection of the fine underdown, preserves fibre length and respects animal welfare.

The crew neck and set-in sleeves create an understated silhouette that places the texture of the knit at the centre of the design. The Camel colour enhances the warmth of this version and pairs well with indigo denim, ecru trousers or brown corduroy. Worn on its own or beneath a jacket, this sweater adds a soft texture to seasonal outfits.
