SEUVAS is a young Japanese label based in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. The brand draws inspiration from workwear and classic hunting jackets, offering garments crafted with exceptional local expertise. All pieces are cut and sewn directly in the Kurashiki workshop using vintage sewing machines, ensuring artisanal quality and meticulous finishing.
This jacket, inspired by vintage hunting jackets, is made from a high-density fabric, blending linen and cotton for both warp and weft. The touch highlights the natural qualities of both fibers: the softness and breathability of cotton, and the lightness and texture of linen. Dyed in Japan, it features a slightly wrinkled look achieved through sun-drying, adding unique texture and charm to the fabric.
The jacket features a retro-inspired cut, accentuated by a deliberately short length, generous width, and a back martingale, referencing vintage Type I denim jackets. Two patch hand pockets have been added, and the button placket features donut-style oxidized metal buttons adorned with a laurel leaf, another nod to historic jackets, adding authenticity to a contemporary overall look. The matching L/C Relaxed Pants Charcoal made from the same fabric is also available to complete the set.
This model fits true to size, you can choose your usual size.
