Description
Drawing on the expertise of Tanabe Meriyasu, a Japanese manufacturer based in Fukui, Jackman continues its founder Mitsugu Tanabe’s interest in American sports and their practical clothing. The Wool Himo Polo reflects this approach through the ease and adjustability of training tops.
The fabric is knitted in Italy from Shetland wool blended with polyester. The sliver knit technique works the fibres without first twisting them into yarn, preserving their loft. The structure traps air to create a warm, lightweight knit whose texture naturally complements the sweater’s generous shape.
The polo collar fastens with two tonal matte snap buttons and can be turned up for greater coverage around the neck. Side pockets add practicality, allowing the model to serve as an outer layer.
A drawcord at the hem allows the opening to be tightened, gathering the fabric to adjust the apparent length. Worn loose or cinched, the Wool Himo Polo retains a relaxed silhouette, with dropped shoulders that make layering easy.
