A Natural Meeting
We have been working with the renowned Japanese label Beams Plus since 2022.Season after season, their way of interpreting classic menswear resonates perfectly with our vision of clothing.
This collaboration was born quite naturally, stemming from a shared appreciation for timeless pieces, respect for craftsmanship, and a desire to offer garments designed to last through the seasons.
At the heart of this project is one of the iconic pieces from the Beams Plus catalog: the 2 Pleats Trousers, here revisited in an exclusive version called "Canvas Washer".
The 2 Pleats Trousers
For several seasons, the 2 Pleats Trousers has established itself as one of the most iconic pants from Beams Plus. Inspired by American trousers from the 1940s to 1960s, it perfectly embodies the brand's philosophy: reinterpreting classic menswear with a Japanese approach to cut and craftsmanship.

The 2 Pleats Trousers features a Loose Tapered fit: roomy at the thighs and tapered towards the ankle.

For this Beams Plus x Flâneurs collaboration, we have adjusted certain volumes to better suit a wider range of body types:
- Thigh width reduced by 3 cm
- Length increased by 7 cm
The result is a balanced, comfortable silhouette that is easy to integrate into a daily wardrobe.

A Fabric Developed in Japan
For this collaboration, we sourced an exclusive fabric used only for Beams Plus x Flâneurs: a technical canvas made of 60% cotton and 40% Cordura® nylon, combining natural comfort with enhanced durability.
This medium-weight canvas has a soft, subtly fluffy hand. The combination of cotton and nylon creates a crisp, almost stiff texture, giving structure while maintaining great flexibility when worn.
The fabric is produced in Hamamatsu, a region historically renowned for its textile industry, by Shibaya Co., a manufacturer established in 1907.
The Sunny Dry Process
After weaving, the fabric is dried outdoors under the sun, a traditional technique called Sunny Dry.
This method allows the fabric to develop subtle irregularities and a slightly crumpled texture, giving the trousers a unique depth.
