Reproduction of Found ("ROF") is a brand from the Japanese group Eye Found Co. Ltd, established in 2016.

The primary goal of the brand is to reproduce shoes and sneakers from the 1950s to the 1990s, specializing in trainers from various world armies: Canadian, French, American, German, British, and Russian.

This model is a reinterpretation of the iconic German Army Trainer, often abbreviated as GAT. The origin of this model dates back to the 1970s when the German Federal Army ("Bundeswehr" or "BW") wanted to order half a million sneakers that could withstand the intensive training of its battalions. Two major German brands, Adidas and Puma, then competed for this contract.

The model we know did come into existence, but archival records from the time do not clarify which company originated it, and the mystery remains unresolved, fueling the legend as various participants contribute to the narrative.

This version offered by ROF retains the design of the upper part, crafted in luxurious Italian Nappa leather with a soft pigskin lining. The outsole, however, differs from the original, replaced here with a vulcanized and stitched Serena rubber sole. The models offered by ROF are among the best reproductions of their kind and provide great durability coupled with immediate comfort.
