Since 1950, NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA has been producing warm, comfortable, and soothing socks in Japan. Katsuji Nishiguchi founded the company Knitwin Co. in the prefecture of Nara, starting with just one manual knitting machine. Since then, the company has continued to grow through the generations and is currently headed by Isato Nishiguchi, the third generation.

Their collection is divided into four ranges, named after the cities that inspired them: Boston, Prague, Oslo, and Teni.

The Silk Cotton Ribbed Socks are part of the Prague range. The city of Prague, in the Czech Republic, derives its beauty from its architecture, from colorful Baroque buildings to stone Gothic churches. Reflecting this city, these socks offer a simple weave that enhances the quality, texture, and brilliance of each material.

Comprising 38% silk and 38% cotton, these finely blended socks will keep you warm in winter and cool in the warmer season. The silk gives the fabric a luxurious appearance that pairs easily with a suit, while the cotton blend allows for more casual outfits. One of the added values of silk is also its antibacterial and anti-sweat properties.
