Description

Founded in 1950 in Japan's Nara Prefecture, Nishiguchi Kutsushita began with a single hand-operated knitting machine under the guidance of Katsuji Nishiguchi. Now led by the family's third generation, the company continues to pursue the same goal: producing socks that provide warmth, comfort and durability through high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship.

The collections are divided into several ranges — Boston, Prague, Oslo and Teni — each inspired by a different city and its unique identity. This model belongs to the Oslo range, designed for colder climates and focused on warmth, comfort and functionality.

The Mohair Wool Pile Socks are made from a blend of wool and kid mohair, creating a soft, warm and insulating fabric while maintaining a relatively fine construction. Mohair provides lightness, softness and excellent thermal properties, while wool enhances comfort and natural temperature regulation.

The foot area features an inner pile lining, creating a soft and enveloping feel while improving heat retention. The ankle is reinforced with a double-knit construction, providing a more secure fit and additional protection against the cold. This design offers an excellent balance between thermal insulation, comfort and a slim profile that fits easily inside footwear.
