This Californian Sweatshirt from XX Development continues the tribute to 1960s American athletic sweatshirts. No hood here, but a classic crew neck for a more understated silhouette, true to the vintage models. Thus, the vintage aesthetic is preserved, but the level of finish is, as always with SURE MFG, impeccable.
It is made from an exclusive fabric, the SURE Raid Back Terry, a 100% cotton fleece with a dense and rustic looped back. The comfort is immediate, but the structure remains firm. The fabric is dyed using the Feeling Dye process, which offers rich and nuanced pigment shades that naturally patina over time.
The double needle stitching is done with cotton thread specially dyed for SURE MFG, ensuring aesthetic coherence and durability. The straight fit and slightly dropped shoulders ensure a natural fall, enhanced by the ribbed edges for a boxy cut that echoes the style of the 60s.
This sweatshirt runs slightly small, you can take your usual size for a fitted look, but it will be more comfortable from the outset if you take a larger size.
