This Californian Sweatshirt by XX Development continues the tribute to American athletic sweatshirts from the 60s. No hoodie here, but a classic crew neck for a more understated silhouette, true to the period models. Thus, the vintage aesthetic is preserved, but the level of finish, as always with SURE MFG, is impeccable.
It is made from an exclusive fabric, the SURE Raid Back Terry, a 14.1oz 100% cotton fleece with a dense and rustic looped back. The comfort is immediate, but the structure remains firm. The fabric is dyed using the Feeling Dye process, which offers rich and nuanced pigment shades, designed to naturally age with wear.
The double needle stitching is done with a specially dyed cotton thread for SURE MFG, ensuring aesthetic consistency and durability. The straight cut and slightly dropped shoulders ensure a natural drape, enhanced by the ribbed edges for a boxy cut that echoes the style of the 60s.
